Private result links
A personal result link acts as a private access credential. Keep it confidential. Someone with the link may be able to view the associated result. A noindex tag is not a substitute for keeping the link private.
Answers and results
When the full exercise is enabled, the service records the attempt, question order, selected answers, approximate active time and the derived result. The sample result remains fixed illustrative content. Active time is estimated in the browser and does not affect the score.
Saving your progress
A necessary first-party cookie lets the browser resume its most recent attempt for up to 30 days. It is not an advertising cookie. This is the cookie lifetime, not a promise about result retention. A temporary answer draft is also kept in this tab’s session storage and removed after successful submission. The timer continues when the page is closed or offline; only answers saved before the deadline are scored.
Optional purchases
Stripe is the planned payment provider. Payment details will be handled through its checkout. Purchasing is not enabled in the preview, and no payment is collected by the sample report buttons.
Finding purchased reports
When report purchases are enabled, we associate the email supplied at checkout with the purchase so you can receive access and find it later. This does not subscribe you to marketing. Email verification links work once and expire after 15 minutes. Verified report access uses a necessary seven-day cookie; signing out removes that access from this browser. Links opened from your report library expire after 30 days; you can request another email link. Original saved result links are separate from this browser session.
Protecting the service
When the full service is enabled, temporary request counters help limit repeated requests. These counters use daily changing keyed identifiers instead of storing raw IP addresses or private result credentials in the counter table. They are used to protect the service, not to build advertising profiles. Hosting and payment providers may process additional technical information, which will be described in the launch notice.
Aggregate information
We do not publish participant statistics during the preview. Any future aggregate data will identify its scope and sample size. Private result credentials and answers will not be included in public analytics events.
Optional measurement
When optional measurement is enabled, it starts only after you choose “Allow measurement.” It records a broad source category, a public-page category, test completion and interest in the report. We check purchase and delivery totals against our own business records. Measurement does not include answers, scores, email addresses, full referring URLs or private result links. No advertising, automatic page-capture or session replay tools are used.
A separate random visit identifier is kept in this tab for up to 24 hours. Your choice is stored in this browser for 30 days. Measurement records are marked for deletion after 30 days and excluded from reports once that period ends. Automated deletion must be verified before public collection is enabled.
Use “Privacy choices” in the footer when measurement is enabled to turn it off and delete this tab’s current visit measurements. Other visits, saved answers and payment records are separate. If deletion cannot be confirmed, the interface says so and lets you retry. Declining has no effect on the test, your free result or any purchase.
Before launch
Business-data retention, deletion requests and the verified operator contact must be finalized before this becomes a production service. See contact status.
